Katie Golec, junior designer with ACM Designs earned national recognition when she won an award from the Decorators and Designers Association of Canada. Katie won the “Best in Challenging Budget” ($8,000 spend) category for a renovation she did in 2018 at ACM Designs. The project involved design and decor of a three bedroom and one bathroom lakeside rental unit. Golec freshened the space with a new coat of silver satin paint and sourced new and vintage finds to create a comfortable and inviting space.
