Get to Know Our Team: Nicole Marshall

Meet Nicole Marshall, Marketing Specialist at ACM Designs.
Nicole didn’t step into the design world through a traditional design role, in fact, she didn’t know much about interior design when she first started at ACM Designs. As the Marketing Specialist, she has spent the past two and a half years sharing ACM’s story with the world.
She received her Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph before joining ACM in her first role out of school. Since then, she has continued to build her portfolio through professional development and hands-on industry learning, completing a certificate program through the Digital Marketing Institute to become a certified Digital Marketing Professional. In 2024, Nicole attended High Point Furniture Market in both the spring and fall, gaining insight into emerging trends and the intersection of design and marketing. She also traveled to London, England to study at University of the Arts London, where she completed a course in Interior Styling for PR and Editorial.
Her passions extends well beyond the office. Nicole is deeply committed to community involvement and philanthropy, supporting a range of local initiatives through her role at ACM. She was invited to speak as a panelist for Haliburton County Development Corporation’s Small Business Week panel on “The Business of Sponsorship,” sharing her perspective on building meaningful partnerships within a small business landscape. She also volunteers as the Marketing Chair for the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada and contributes her expertise to Places for People, to support them with their fundraiser Sleeping in Cars.

Passions or Hobbies: “Spending time with friends & family, travelling, pilates, and cooking. I am also a big-time board game player.”
Where can you be found when you’re not at work: “Not at work.”
Fav Food: “Guac.”
Fav colour: “Yellow, but not like mustard, like a sunflower or butter... a soft yellow.”
Fav Design Style (right now): “I like to think my fav design style is rustic/transitional, but Andria would argue it's eclectic.”
She recently travelled to Panama, and shared a photo during her hike in Anton Valley.
