If you’ve worked on a project with Rachael, you already know how impressive she truly is. With a background in drafting, estimating, and technical design, she brings a sharp eye to every project. None of that compares to her genuine love of seeing her ideas come to life.
Rachael has been with ACM Designs for two years now as an Intermediate Designer. She has a Bachelor of Interior Design, is an intern at the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) working towards her permanent membership and Certified Interior Designer status, has completed multiple certifications from the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), and is a Qualified Adaptiv Home Specialist from the Canadian Home Builders Association (CHBA). What’s the cherry on top of the professional development cake? She is a proud member of the Decorators & Designers Association of Canada, where she volunteers on the Education Committee.
In 2025, the Peterborough & Kawartha’s Home Builders Association hosted its annual Design Excellence awards, and Rachael’s project was awarded Gold for Renovation Under $200,000.
She was asked which projects she is most proud of, which is never an easy question… especially for a designer who pours her heart and soul into every project. BUT, if she had to choose, she is most proud of her work on the Paudash Lake Cottage and our latest Drag Lake Cottage that is still in construction.
There is obviously much more to Rachael than just her career achievements, so to get a slight glimpse into who she is, here is a rapid-fire style response of fun facts. Please enjoy.
